What are the channels I can pay for the booked rooms?

Answer

  • Cash payment or Bank Transfer - If paid via bank transfer, all additional charges and fees related to the transfer will be borne by you. The amount must be transferred in advance before check in, only after our accounting department confirmed the amount in the bank we can allow guest to check in.
  • Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Union Pay)/ Debit Card – The credit card authorization form can be provided by us on your request. Please note that you have to return to us duly filled and signed credit card authorization form, either through email or fax, along with a copy of your credit card (both sides should be copied) to process the said payment. Depending on the booking payment terms, you may pay by credit or debit card at the time of arrival.
  • WECHAT & ALIPAY – to enhance the overall guest experience and provide seamless travel experiences some of the hotels under Sunshine Hotels & Resorts have started accepting payment through these mobile payment technologies. (Except Ravindra Beach Resort and Spa)
Will there be extra charge for child stays?

Answer

1 Child who is less than 12 years old is allowed to stay in your room without additional fees (Breakfast for children is charged at 50% of the adult price). Some properties under Sunshine Hotels & Resorts might have rooms large enough to accommodate 2 children in the room which normally, these rooms will be the Superior or Deluxe type. You can inform the staffs in the booking process by specifying how many children and their corresponding ages.

Is a young child allow to share the Bed?

Answer

Yes, children with age less than or equal to 6 is allowed to share the Bed or you may request for small Bed additionally (without additional fee required).

What is the Check-in and Check-out time?

Answer

Sunshine Hotels and Resorts have the usual Check-in time after 14:00 and Check-out time before 12:00 (Midday). Of course, we would try our best to make avail the rooms for your arrival. However, we cannot guarantee in advance since rooms will be subjected to availability of the night before. If you need to confirm an early Check-in, you could also book the night before or a special price based on number of hours. On the other hand, if you need to confirm a late Check-out, you could request a special price for it. Late Check Out after 6.00 pm will be charged full night.

Can I fasten the Check-in time?

Answer

If the hotel could complete the room turning, you could Check-in before 14:00. However, please contact the Front Office of the hotel (If the staff already confirmed that the rooms are full, we may have to deny the early Check-in request, we beg for your understanding). Higher room categories if available at that time, our Front Office team will provide you special discount so that you can upgrade your room and check in early.

Can I extend the Check-out time?

Answer

You could only extend the Check-out time to 14:00. However subject to availability, the hotel will charge an extra fee of 100 Baht/Hour. Guests who wish to do so should state their needs at the Front Office of the hotel well in advance. Guests checking out after 18:00 will be charged full night.

Remark* For Ravindra beach Resort and Spa; extending check out time between 14.00 - 18.00 hrs wil be charged as prices below.

Do the hotel charge a cancellation fee for booking cancellations?

Answer

The cancellation policy differs between the properties under Sunshine Hotels & Resorts and period of the year. During high-season we will have a stricter cancellation policy than low-season period. The cancellation details will be displayed during the booking process.

Why room fees displayed via the Website not the same when I saw it before?

Answer

Our room rates keeps on changing depending on the high or low demand. Though we try our best to be as consistent as possible. As and how the date of arrival approached the rates usually go higher.

When is the best time to travel to Thailand?

Answer

Actually, you can travel and enjoy Thailand throughout the whole year from the northern parts to the southern areas. However, because of the fact that Thailand is a tropical country. Certain months will be very hot or rainy, it is advised that you check the weather forecast out. We consider November to March as our high season and April to October as our low season. 25 Dec to 10 Jan we consider our peak period.

What is the currency used in Thailand?

Baht is the national currency. However, there are always currency exchange services all around the tourist's destinations. There are fluctuations in Thai Bahts as well, it is advised that you check the rates before exchanging or booking the room.

How can I travel from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

We have three airports nearby Suvarnabhumi International Airport Bangkok, Don Muang International Airport Bangkok and U-Tapao Airport Pattaya. You can travel to the hotel through various means e.g. when you book the room with us, you could also book the transportation from our partner's website to pick you up at the airport. There will be a staff to welcome you, so that you will need not worry about looking for taxi after getting tired from the long flight. Or you can also get transportation that provided at the airport when you have arrived. And from Pattaya, you could take taxi or drive by yourself.

What are the kinds of rooms the hotel offers?

Sunshine Hotels & Resorts provide a variety of rooms with different types and price ranges. Additional information e.g. pictures, rates, size of rooms, facilities, amenities and other distinctive points could be acquired in each of the hotels' websites.

Can I request for additional bed?

Answer

Yes, you may request 1 additional bed per room. Price details will differ for each hotel. Please contact the Front office of the hotel for more information or book directly through our hotel website by choosing number of Adults and Children.

Do the hotels provide Honeymoon or Anniversary package?

Answer

Yes, Promotional package for guests who would like to celebrate various occasions are available. Please check with the hotel you would like to book with for more information.

Can I modify or cancel the booking that was made through the travel agency?

Answer

We must apologize for the inconvenience. Guests would have to contact the agency they booked the room with for their modifications or cancellations.

Can I request a non-smoking room?

Answer

Absolutely, you can state your request while booking your room though our hotel website or by email or phone calls or at Front Office of the hotel. Please note that last minute bookings especially during long weekends or high demand period non-smoking rooms are subject to availability.

Are there Connecting room available?

Answer

Some of accommodations under Sunshine Hotels & Resorts do provide Connecting rooms. Some accommodations have connecting rooms in higher categories.

Are there fitness room in the hotel?

The Sunshine Vista and Ravindra Beach Resort & Spa provides fitness room. Operation hours from 07.00 - 21.00 hrs. daily

The price displayed is per person or per room?

Answer

The displayed price is per room (for 2 persons) the third guest would be subjected to an additional fee of 1,000+++ baht including breakfast.

How many people can lodge within the same room?

Answer

The maximum number of people allowed within the same room is 3 persons (adult). The third person would be subjected to additional fee of approximately 1,000+++ baht per night including breakfast. However, family type rooms allow up to 4 persons.

Is pet allowed to be check-in?

We apologize for the inconvenience, pet is not allowed to be brought in.

Is the room price includes breakfast?

There are price for breakfast included or room only.

Are there large bed room (King Size)?

Bed size is subjected to the availability of the room type. Guests can specify their needs during the booking.

Are there tub available in the room?

When and where do I have my breakfast?

Breakfast buffet is available at the restaurant during 07.00-10.00. After that, it could be ordered via the restaurant as well. Breakfast at Sunshine Hotel & Residences closes at 11.00 am. Ravindra Beach Resort and Spa Breakfast buffet is available at the All Day restaurant: Monday - Friday 06.00 - 10.00 hrs Saturday - Sunday and Public Holiday 06.00 - 10.30 hrs
